The Club Kidpreneur Foundation

Published on 06/01/2014

I am excited to announce my participation as 'Camp Mentor' in the Club Kidpreneur Foundation.

Looking for a way to entertain your kids for the last of the school holidays? The Club Kidpreneur Foundation is running its annual CAMP KIDPRENEUR holiday program next week from 13-16 & 18 January, 2014.

Camp Kidpreneur is an exciting school holiday micro-enterprise program for 8 -12 year olds teaching them to start their very own real-world businesses.

The camp runs over four action packed days and provides budding kidpreneurs the opportunity to be creative and start their own business while learning real-life business lessons delivered in a fun and engaging way by real-world entrepreneur Camp Mentors.

During the Camp kidpreneurs use a “Business in a Backpack” and a pantry of raw materials to build an original micro-enterprise complete with registered business name and logo, business cards and merchandise. On Saturday 18th kidpreneurs will take their branded, merchandised business to the Club Kidpreneur stall to put their new sales and customer service skills into practice by selling their products to the general public. The kids take home all their profits and are encouraged to 'save some, give some, spend some'.

The Camp runs between 9am-1pm from 13-16 January at Victoria University (Flinders St Campus).

Early bird offers end this Wednesday 8 January: "40% off standard registration" or "Bring a friend for FREE".
